Bob Davis: "Do we really need this?"

W5DID looking at all of the stuff stored in the AMSAT storage facility in Orlando.

Stan Wood and Lee McLamb's son. Lee is not in these pictures but did help move out of the facilities.

Let's load a clean room air handler. In the foreground are Bob Davis (Tan shirt) and me (blue shirt, ball cap).

At left in the lightweight section, Bob Davis, KF4KSS and I (N4HY) watch while the pro's lift this air handler.

Other than chipping paint, these air handlers are in remarkably good condition. The motors were in perfect like new condition except for one.

Notice how this is being lifted. The box on the end with the blowers, electronics, etc. is much more massive than the empty but much more voluminous air side. The tines of the forks are well beyond the center of mass.
