Born March 7, 1954 in Lebanon, Tenn. Licensed in 1964 in Alabama, and N4HY since the mid 1970's. Shann, N2HPE and I grew up together in Grove Hill, Alabama. Her mother wouldn't let us talk on the telephone so Shann got her novice license, we built her a radio, and she and I flirted all through 10-11-th grades on Morse code. She got her Tech Plus ticket in 1980's and has held it since. We were married in 1978 and have 3 children. We live in East Windsor, NJ. I graduated from Brown University with a Ph.D. in Mathematics., taught math at Auburn for two years. I left there for the Center for Communications Research in Princeton, NJ area to work. I've been here since 1985.
